Cross stitch and needlepoint, now complete projects
Needlepoint now has its own maker, apart from the cross-stitch maker. Both give full instructions for a finished square piece, not just a chart, and both have six new complete designs with borders, drawn for this site.

Needlepoint is its own craft
Choose canvas mesh from 10 to 18, then basketweave, continental or half-cross tent stitch, and tapestry wool or Persian yarn. Yarn estimates follow the stitch and the yarn. The canvas gets a margin for blocking and finishing, the work order leaves the background until last, and blocking comes before making up. Old needlepoint links from the cross-stitch page open on the new page.
